The ACI IGS™ System Training Process

ACI IGS™ consists of up to six discrete independent stations.

This unique process is purposefully designed to permit efficient movement of a large number of trainees through the system including simultaneous operation of each station.

Multiple geographically dispersed installations can be networked together to configure up to 64 simultaneous trainees into the same virtual training environment.

STATION 1 Registration / Face Mapping
  • Trainees register/sign in & manage their account
  • View training history and statistics
  • Supports magnetic cards or a barcode-based card
  • Trainees personalize their own simulated character
  • Frontal & profile photos acquired with two cameras
  • Translate user photo into animated 3D model
STATION 2 Mission Briefing
  • Trainees briefed by a senior trainer
  • Utilizes interactive 3D tools
STATION 3 VR Training/Rehearsal
  • Delivers full sensory immersion and freedom-of-motion
  • User tracking ranges from 3º DOF head & weapon tracking to 6º DOF full body tracking and virtual glove
  • Each station contains an M4 standard weapon wirelessly linked to the IGS™ system
STATION 4 After Action Review (AAR)
  • Provides sophisticated tools to interactively replay mission
  • Reports individual and team results using charts & statistics

Mission Control / VCam™

  • Monitors & controls all activities including registration, pre-mission briefing & AAR and facilitates maintenance
  • Organizes records and maintains trainees’ activities in a centralized database 3D visualization and mission management using AI
